We start with a meeting where we discuss your facilitation needs and discuss whether we are the right match.

In particular, I ask about:

What is your situation and task right now?
Who should participate in the process?
What is the purpose of the process - and what is its context?
What challenges should the process be able to handle?
How do we ensure you can follow up and move on safely at the end of the process?

Together we set goals and milestones to reach.

Along the way, I follow up on plans and priorities as they tend to change. That way, we can adapt along the way.

I was previously responsible for integrations with Microsoft's Dynamics CRM system, where we had issues with data transfer from Navision. A task that had been teasing us for a long time. When I got on the job, I could see that the nature of the task could quickly develop into a major project if we did nothing. Marie came in as project manager. I'll never forget our first project meeting, where Marie had called the right people into the meeting, both decision-makers and technicians, so everyone was familiar with the task. I have never experienced such a meeting before, Marie was incredibly prepared and had drawn the entire process so that everyone could see it visually, and at the same time she had also drawn the project plan etc. By the end of the meeting, everyone agreed on the next steps, had a detailed and visual understanding of the task, and we moved forward quickly and efficiently.

When Tønder Municipality's new municipal council had to formulate visions and strategies for the election period at a 24-hour seminar, we chose to document the seminar visually. We did this because we know that the visual supports the spoken and written word. Over the course of an entire day, Marie visualized the points made by the politicians on 8 large posters. After the seminar, we added photos of the posters to the vision and strategy plan that came out of the seminar. This kind of visualization gives the politicians a recognition of the process they have been involved in. This, we believe, increases ownership. We also use the posters when we communicate our vision and strategy plan internally in the organization.

My name is Marie Rohrsted - and I'm passionate about facilitating valuable processes so that your projects, development plans and workshops reach their goals.

I do this on a foundation of many years of experience as a project manager and change agent from various companies and industries. Among other things:

My professional background is an MSc in Japanese, Business Administration, Communication and Branding. I am also certified in PRINCE2, Agile project management and the profile tool E-stimate.
